Portugal with Faithfull the Brand

Faithfull the Brand is one of those brands I always go back to again and again. ever since discovering them many moons ago, they’ve been something of a repeating favourite when it comes to what goes in my suitcase. They just nail that summer vibe in everything they do Just the right kind of florals and prints, backless, button-down dresses, stripy linen trousers just as good for dinner as on the beach and every kind of throw-on dress and jumpsuit you can imagine. And they think about the little details which I love… The high-waisted trousers have a belt at the front but they zip-up invisibly from the back giving you a non-lump, super flattering silhouette. Likewise the low-cut dresses (ideal on flat chests like me) also come with little hook and eye fastenings so you have the option of revealing slightly less if you want to. Clever stuff that isn’t as common as you might think. And did I mention the swimwear is some of the most flattering out there… Alas most of this stuff was a size too small for me (I take a small) so not a perfect representation but seriously, they are legends at making non-VPL making bottoms and boob-enhancing tops.

So every time Faithfull ask me to work with them in pretty much any capacity, I say yes. From shooting in Mexico in 2016 to styling a campaign in India in 2017, to this year, where I packed a tonne of their stuff for Comporta and took pictures et voila. It’s this kind of project that feels easy; the clothes are great, the location if amazing and the brand is one I can really get behind. Plus, they’ve just started being stocked by Net-A-Porter which is amazing for us in the U.K who don’t want to spend on customs charges.

I hope you like the pics from out trip… If you missed my post about Comporta, go back and have a little read of that now too.
