Beached on Turks and Caicos

Is there any better feeling than being salty, sandy and sun kissed after a long day on the beach? It’s definitely up there for me and the Caribbean sea is one of the best. These pics just really sum up the whole holiday and my vacay mood and I have no good reason to share them other than to keep the holiday mood alive that bit longer…  And hopefully inspire some excitement for summer plans and trip planning for you too. 

The beach at Amanyara really was one of the most relaxing I’ve ever been to and for some unknown reason to me, everyone tended to leave around 5 pm (and incidentally everyone ate pretty early too) so we and a handful of others had the whole beach to ourselves for golden hour, my favourite time of day to swim, hang out and generally frolick around in the shallows while pretending I’m far more mermaid-like than I actually am.

These shots bring back so many happy memories for me I couldn’t not share. Here’s to chasing the sun with the people you love all year long.
