Winter in London

It’s that time of year. 4 p.m sunsets, half a dozen coats on rotation, endless advent calendar openings on instagram stories….

I’m yet to feel overly festive if I’m honest, it normally happens for me about a week before Christmas (bah, humbug) but I do love a season change and being able to bundle up. And this is better than any novelty Christmas jumper in my mind…

These kinds of pieces are exactly what I’m living in right now, although I’ll admit these were taken a few weeks ago and these days there’d be a scarf, hat and gloves thrown into the mix too. I might hate the cold, but I do love a season change and coming inside from the cold makes the icy extremities worth it.

Plus, the occasional glowy winter sunset like this makes the short days and long nights worth the seasonal affective disorder.
