That Spring Light
London was having a bit of an L.A moment last week and showing off at sunset. Forget flowers and trees, the one way to tell when Spring has really sprung in the capital is the light….
It’s amazing the difference a few rays can make. It was only the day before we took these pics on our way home from a shoot that I was moaning to Frances about how bored I was of getting dressed in the morning. All my jackets, coats and boots have been worn to death, my knitwear is starting to bobble and it’s amazing how quickly you can forget what your legs look like. My S.S.A.D (Seasonal Sartorial Affective Disorder) has reached breaking point, a moment that is always sign-posed by my sudden need to start compulsively online window shopping for bikinis. Luckily, as if by magic, the next day lit up, warmed up and just like that it was t-shirt-and-jacket weather. The fact I was dressed akin to Karen from Californication (my long term muse/woman crush) was just an ideal coincidence.
Here’s to many more days like this and many less layers in posts to come…
