I’ve had my eyes on these clean, white kicks for ages and with Spring firmly in the air, it feels like the ideal time to break them out from the box. Common Projects are, aptly, like the Mansur Gavriel of shoes… To anyone else they look like nondescript white sneakers, but to those in the know or under their spell, they’re coveted for their simplicity, tiny details and amazing quality. No logos, monograms or telltale hardware, these guys only catch the most discerning of eyes and feel almost like a little secret code to others in on it, which I guess is what makes them so damn covetable (and hard to find in stock). The little golden numbers on the heels, clean lines and leather exterior make these the sleekest trainers I’ve ever owned, and after months of eyeing them up on girls on the tube, I finally tracked down a pair on LuisaviaRoma.
After months of boots and parkas, it feels super nice to lighten the load in some new elevated essentials made for transitioning into a new season.
