His ‘n Hers

I’m not really into PDAs, but I am definitely into co-hosting… However living in a little one bedroom flat with my makeshift office on our kitchen table, Jamie and I get little chance to entertain as a pair. And despite working in very similar worlds, our schedules tend to clash and we inevitably end up travelling and working solo for much of the year.

So when J.Crew asked us to host a cocktail & shopping party together in London, we immediately jumped at the chance of being a double-act for an evening. If you weren’t aware, Jamie’s the creative director and editor of So It Goes magazine as well as a published photographer (basically one of those annoying people that are good at most things). And while we both work in fashion, it’s rare we can both walk into the same store with the same amount of enthusiasm. Any shop that keeps us both equally occupied is a winner in my eyes and J.Crew has always been one such place for us. He goes straight for the shirts, pocket tees and knits, while I head for the cashmere sweaters and accessories.

We’re teaming up with J.Crew next Wednesday (November 11th) for cocktails and 20% off purchases at the brand’s Sloane Square store from 6.30 – 8.30 pm. There’ll be goody bags, drinks flowing and the chance to do some discounted Christmas shopping, plus if you fancy picking either Jamie’s or my brain about anything and everything (running a start-up, working in magazines/blogging, photography, travel or just which box set we’re watching right now), we’ll be ready and waiting to chat.
