Jekyll & Hyde

There are two sides to every coin and I’m a creature of contrast through and through….

When it comes to my London wardrobe, it’s grey and black all the way. Leather ankle boots, ripped denim and charcoal cashmere pretty much sums up my Autumn Uniform. On off-duty days I sometimes worry I’ve gone too far down the androgynous route, veering dangerously close to looking like an overgrown member of Hanson. But then that’s just how I like it; low-key, tomboyish and comfortable above all else.Bag | Mansur Gavriel via Vestiaire Collective

But then when it comes to my beauty products and home life, I like things to be warm, soft and inviting. I almost hate myself for subconsciously entering into girly girl territory but when I looked down at the products I’ve been loving recently, I realised they’re all nursing that rosy, Acne shade of pink I love to love.

Jamie recently brought me back the Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water face spray from New York and I’ve subsequently totally fallen in love with the entire Herbivore brand. The YSL CC cream is a total godsend on my sun-speckled skin as is my beloved Creme de la Mer. I’ve just finished my first pot after a year of use (a little goes a long way) and am feeling bereft…
