Lucy Williams X Missoma Jewellery Collection

If you follow me on instagram you might have seen a few #LucyWilliamsXMissoma cropping up over the last month and I’m so happy to finally share what it’s all about…

I’ve been hard at work over the last six months designing a capsule jewellery collection with British brand Missoma and it’s finally out in the big wide world ready to buy. This is my first design collaboration and I’m so glad I chose Missoma to do this with. I’m a jewellery obsessive so it felt like the right fit and Missoma gave me total creative freedom while lending their eye, expertise and knowledge so it was an awesome experience for start to finish.

I wanted to create all the pieces I’ve had in my mind but never quite been able to find. I’m a stickler for details (chain thickness, size and shape of pendants) so it was amazing to be able to be a total perfectionist and end up with a collection very personal that I can’t wait to wear. Unsurprisingly, the pieces themselves were inspired by summer, or more specifically the beach; the kind of pieces you want to layer up with a bikini or wear over tanned skin on hot, balmy nights. I remember watching Blue Lagoon and loving the idea of creating really delicate, refined pieces that were inspired by natural treasures you find on the beach and in the sea. My personal favourites have to be the shark’s tooth necklace (I’m so happy we went for half silver, half gold), large double horn necklace and the dagger gold hoops…. I hope you love the pieces as much as I do. The little bobbly chains are a really favourite too. This has been a total passion project for me and I plan on wearing mine for many, many years to come, with lots of the chains already glued to my neck and wrists and really hope you love these pieces as much as I do.
