Dock of the Bay
Beige plaid might not automatically spring to mind when you think holiday wardrobe. No one wants to look like the interior of a caravan now do they. And yet somehow this Reformation shirt dress is more market-shopping-in-Capri than it is weekend-in-wales (I’m a little bit Welsh, I can say it).
A big slit that loves to play havoc in the wind and a belt that makes the whole thing feel like the sexiest piece of tartan you ever did button up, makes this one of those pieces that look like nothing much on the hanger and comes into its own as soon as you pull it over your shoulders. When it comes to post-beach dressing, this is one of my favourites… A straw basket (alas I left mine at home this time) and suede Mallorca sandals are all you need by way of accessories for this one.
Some might say boring, some might say simple, I say a new-found suitcase staple that I can’t wait to billow around in on more docks of more bays this Summer.
