Need for Green

Sometimes the best updates are the simplest; switching your normal black jeans for baggy olive chinos or that leather biker for a green boxy jacket.  I can’t quite put my finger on why I’m feeling everything and anything khaki right now, although you might noticed a growing obsession with it in recent looks such as this and this. Maybe it has something to do with fresh leaves on the trees, the transition into a warmer quarter and the need to implement some military precision on an overflowing, post-fashion week inbox… Or maybe it’s just thanks to the likes of 10 Crosby Derek Lam, Chanel, Celine, NLST and Nicholas K, all of whom championed this warm, army green hue that slots right into my menagerie of monochrome, charcoal and nautical stripes. And it looks amazing with bright red or orange too if you’re of the colour-wearing persuasion…
