Another chapter in the suede-covered series, and this time it’s a long one…
After the vintage miniskirt of late, I’ve progressed into all out Starsky and Hutch territory in a billowing, buttery trench coat that manages to make me feel firstly very expensive, and secondly like the love child of a Charlie’s Angel and an Avenger. Both of which are great achievements for a straw-haired tomboy that’s currently happiest in thermals.
It’s no secret I’m obsessed with all things Scandi, a love affair intensified after visiting Stockholm last September and falling hard for everything from the meatballs to the metro (yes really). Seriously, the Scandis are rivalling the French when it comes to the most stylish nation prize, not to mention the bluest, brightest highlights. And I have one of my favourite Swedish brands to thank for my latest seventies silhouette, with Filippa K coming across to blighty and setting up camp (aka a Pop-Up Shop) in London’s Fenwicks for the next few weeks. Open from now until 28th Feb, the in-store pop up will give us all the chance to stock up on clean, timeless essentials straight from Stockholm just in time for Spring.
Get down to the Filippa K pop-up before they head back to their (blonde) motherland.
