Topshop Summer Seekers | Whiteout
Think of summer dressing, and I tend to think of the colour white. Broderie anglaise dresses, white t-shirts, sheer linen tunics…. before thinking of the inevitable kethcup stains that ensue.
So when Topshop asked me to style up some looks from their high summer collection, I immediately looked to the light side. Even better that there were some bright white dungarees fresh in stock, something I’ve been eyeing up ever since the clocks sprung forward. I don’t do white jeans; it took a few years of misinformed/delusional youth, but I now realise they don’t and will never suit me. Leaving them to Liz Hurley and co. But, I do do white denim, be it a jacket, shorts or, as per my new purchase, perfectly baggy, ripped dungarees that will see you right through till September. I like mine with a sleeveless vest (or just a teeny-tiny bra/bikini if you’re feeling daring) and few black accents to save it from all being too Daz advert.
